THE FORUM

Not a counter-conference. A voice of its own.

The African Security & Growth Forum (ASGF) is a high-level, strictly limited side-event format held alongside the Munich Security Conference (MSC). Rather than a full counter-congress, it is a deliberately small, curated circle of three to four exclusive events — designed for direct, closed-door exchange with the high concentration of international decision-makers in Munich.

Africa is not meant to appear as a recipient of international security policy, but as a co-shaper of global stability, economic resilience and innovation. The format lives not on scale, but on exclusivity: a strict, personally curated invitation policy, thematic sharpness and exclusive bilateral follow-up formats reserved for a select circle only.

Africa defines its own role.”

THEMATIC PILLARS

Six pillars, one shared framework

Each ASGF edition is structured around six thematic pillars. Every session concludes with a concrete outcome document that supports ongoing political and economic dialogue.

Aviation & Tourism as Critical Infrastructure

Connectivity and security as the foundation of economic development.

EU Safety List (Reform-Oriented)

Reform-oriented dialogue on the EU air safety list.

Investment at Eye Level

Fair global economic relations and partnership-based investment models.

Digital Sovereignty

Access to future technologies and digital self-determination.

Climate & Green Infrastructure

Climate resilience and sustainable infrastructure development.

Youth, Talent & Skills

Education, skills and employment as a security factor.
PARTICIPANTS

Three perspectives, one conversation.

The ASGF brings together African decision-makers, global institutions and international investors in a strictly curated format accessible by personal invitation only — a closed circle, not an open stage.

40%

Africa
Entrepreneurs, founders, investors, Head of States, ministers and representatives of the African Union.

30%

World
International institutions, ministries, foundations, regulators and think tanks from Europe and worldwide.

30%

Investors
Private equity, development banks, infrastructure funds and family offices.
Quality over quantity: strict invitation discipline instead of an open mass event — every seat at the table is deliberately assigned.
PARTNERSHIP

Four ways to become part of the ASGF.

Sponsors are selected for content relevance, not budget size alone — the number of partner slots per category is deliberately limited. All packages include visibility, exclusive access to the Closed Roundtables and direct contact with decision-makers from Africa, Europe and the investor landscape.
